I want to have a big family
because I know that I will be the only one who gives grandchildren to my parents. I want to pass down my name. Yes, there is a vagina between my legs but that doesn’t mean my children won’t have my last name!
Anyway, back to the topic…
Sigh… I know that 2 of my 3 brothers will most likely never have children. And I am making this judgement without thinking of gender roles. I don’t want my family to shrink; that pattern of having one grandchild per child will eventually catch up with society and we will be in serious deficit. I want my children to know what it feels like to share with a lot of people, to look after one another, to appreciate what it means to have a lot of loving people around them. That is how I feel with my current family; they are all so loving and fun to be around. My children deserve the same experience!
And yeah… I know money is a huge advantage and that if I want to give birth to 3-5 children I “have to start young”. Nonetheless, I think that I can still accomplish my dreams of a youthful freedom.
Not to mention that my mother would adore my kids. Behehehhe.
